Our Policies
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our approach is based on the following principles:
Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values and ethical standards.
Ethical Employment
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place.
Due Diligence Processes
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we:
- Work with established, reputable suppliers with transparent business practices
- Maintain long-term relationships with trusted parts suppliers
- Require suppliers to confirm their compliance with anti-slavery legislation
- Conduct regular reviews of our supplier relationships
- Reserve the right to terminate relationships with any supplier found to be in breach of modern slavery laws
Risk Assessment
Given the nature of our business as a small, local automotive repair specialist, we assess our risk exposure to modern slavery as low. However, we remain vigilant and committed to maintaining ethical standards throughout our operations.
Key Risk Areas We Monitor:
- Imported automotive parts from regions with higher risk profiles
- Subcontracted services where we have less direct oversight
- New supplier relationships before trust is established
Training and Awareness
We ensure that our team understands the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We provide guidance on identifying potential signs of slavery and trafficking and the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise.
Measuring Effectiveness
We measure the effectiveness of our approach through:
- Regular supplier assessments and reviews
- Monitoring of supply chain transparency
- Staff awareness and training completion
- Review of policies and procedures
- Investigation of any concerns raised
